I'm Andrea D'Amato, a Senior System, Cloud & Linux Engineer based in Kraków, Poland — originally from Amalfi, one of those unfairly beautiful Italian coastal towns that makes everyone else's hometown feel a bit grey by comparison.
I've spent 15+ years designing, automating, securing and scaling enterprise Linux and hybrid cloud infrastructures, with a focus on RHEL/Rocky Linux, Ansible, OpenTofu/Terraform, and Azure. If it can be automated, it will be automated. If it can't, I'll find a way.
Outside of terminals and YAML files, I enjoy hiking, gaming (currently deep in the Gothic series rabbit hole), and sharing my home with my wife and Belle — my Samoyed, who is convinced she's the real senior engineer around here. This is my space to share and document what I learn, break, fix, and occasionally overthink.
